Peninsula 8-Year-Old Becomes TV Cooking Show Host

An 8-year-old in Redwood Shores kept asking for food until his mom taught him to make it himself, breakfast burritos, mac and cheese, the basics. He tried out against 200 other kids and landed a spot hosting a cooking show on PBS.
The parent worked alongside
His mom didn't keep cooking for him. She taught him how, then she and his dad drove him to the audition and let him take it from there.
Why we picked this one
Nobody set out to build a TV host. Someone just got tired of short-order cooking for a hungry kid and handed him the pan instead.
